Curis Recruitment is proud to represent this fantastic health service based in Victoria to help them find an amazing Senior Speech Pathologist to join their team on an agency contract basis. Job Details: Up to $78.37 per hour base rate Fully furnished housing provided for the duration of the contract. Return travel from within Australia provided Supportive team and agency support throughout your contract Fulltime 80 hours per fortnight As the Senior Speech Pathologist in acute speech pathology services, you will work with the MDT in the management of complex communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings. You will have the opportunity to teach and lead VFSS, FEES, tracheostomy and laryngectomy competencies. Individualised support in these extended and advanced practice areas of work will be provided by a Grade 4 Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist. You will be living in a beautiful regional part of Victoria which offers a blend of historical charm and natural beautiful with modern conveniences. The area has a population of around 110,000 people. Perfect if you love a quiet life over a big city however still offering all the conveniences that you would need for example shopping centres, restaurants and cafes and on your time off there is some beautiful opportunities for outdoor activities. To be eligible you must: Certified Practicing Membership with Speech Pathology Australia Current drivers licence A minimum of seven years' experience, including significant experience in working with adults in the acute care setting and preferably a post-graduate qualification in the relevant clinical area of practice Advanced knowledge of assessment treatment and management options for adult clients with swallowing and communication difficulties and a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge Demonstrated ability to identify, implement and review quality improvement activities, and positively influence change as required If you are interested and would like to receive the full job description, please email through your CV to contact@curis.com.au and a consultant will be in touch.
